Head of a team of situation officers, administrators and analysts working on the Kaduna State Peace Commission Conflict Early Warning Early Response System (CEWERS) In keeping with its strategic priorities and as part of efforts to strengthen the peace infrastructure in Kaduna State, the Commission has established the Kaduna State Peace Commission Conflict Early Warning Early Response System (CEWERS). The CEWERS hands the tool of conflict prevention to all peaceful loving citizens of the state, who are in the majority, to call the attention of responders and emergency service providers to the possibility of breakdown of peace, law and order in their environs in real time. It is a consummation of the emphasis that communities take ownership of whatever initiative the Peace Commission midwives amongst them. The success of this work complements the work the Commission and its partners (civil and military) are doing in the area of peace building, and enhances synergies with security agencies, especially in conflict prevention. In so doing, the Commission has found a way to strengthen linkages with community peace actors and state actors. www.kspcewers.com.ng Show less
