The research for my integrated project to complete the program focused on comparing experiences of immigrants from African countries with education in their home countries and in the US.

      -Managed a team of in office and remote curriculum writers in creating textbooks, teacher, guides and exams for Bridge in Uganda-Developed teacher guides for primary 1 through 4 English for for the 2017 school year in Ugandan academies.-Designed the grade 7 English Primary Leaving Exam revision textbook and teacher guides for 2017.-Designed and wrote content for a revised primary 3 science book in accordance with national standards. -Managed a team of between three and ten local curriculum writing fellows in revising and updating teacher guides, textbooks, and exams for grades 3 through 5 English, Math, science, and social studies in accordance with national standards for over 50 academies in Uganda. -Managed a team of between three and ten local curriculum writing fellows developing lesson plans, textbooks, and exams for the opening of the first seven Bridge International Academies in Uganda.-Gained experience with textbook design and art commissioning processes. -Wrote English teacher guides to be used in second and third grade classrooms at Bridge International Academies in Kenya.
