Currently working as Purchase Engineer in Supply Chain Management and looking after the daily activities in the plant for Koppal and Belagavi- • Working on MIS reports- Preparing inventory reports for all the plants (Inventory and left over stock analysis, Inventory ageing, etc) • Functional Understanding of Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle. • Creation and maintenance of material master data. • Create master data for all stages in the production process from raw material to finished products. • Maintaining safety stock and recognizing the re-order point based on standard lead time and daily consumption rate. • Planning the material based on consumption and updating the MRP, creating purchase orders (PO) and provide monthly and weekly production plan as per dispatch schedule to vendors and following up with them. • Negotiating, market survey leading to vendor identification, maintaining vendor master data, Material master data. • Highlight disputes and issues to be resolved to the concerned stakeholders. • Managing vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnership. • Evaluating the vendor's monthly delivery performance and sharing performance report. Monitoring the contractor's progress and performance to ensure goods and confirm the contract requirements. • Coordination with the logistics for material shipment with respective destination • Working on payment plan sheet of vendors to be released to the finance department.
