  I hosted my own radio show for two hours a week. I operated the audio equipment, answered online requests and phone calls. For every show that I had I logged all of the music music played, any requests that were made, all promos that were played, as well as if there were any guests in studio. Each week record labels sent in CDs to the station and I would review several of these a week. I also assisted with Production in creating announcements for upcoming events, as well as recording and editing show promos.   I assisted the bookkeeper in the accounting office and had many responsibilities. Every week I would check and input the payroll reports for all of the employees. On a daily basis I managed invoices for over 100 vendors and had to remain very organized with our records to keep track of payments. At the end of each month I did bank reconciliations for all three of the restaurants that my boss owned. I also answered phones in the office, dealt with any inquiries vendors had, and took reservations.

  I loaded daily shows for several stations such as Hip-Hip Nation, JAM On and Ozzy's Boneyard. Some of my other daily activities consisted of ingesting music for on-air play and doing some research for royalties. I became proficient in using our music based programs called Prophet and Music Master. Another program I used often was Adobe Audition for producing and editing audio, including interviews, performances and artist IDs. Every week for the Senior Manager of Music Programming Operations I logged what artists came for interviews or performances to SiriusXM using Microsoft Excel. Show less
