To participate in the large scale movement of livestock from the closed Underwater World Singapore Aquarium to a temporary holding facility in Desaru Malaysia. This involved large animal capture and movements, long-haul overground transports and introductions.       Having brought Cairns Aquarium through its launch and into autonomy, I am now responsible for the livestock and operations management of all large exhibits and its galleries.This relates to animal husbandry and treatments, life support operations and tank maintenance, diving standards and the development of safe and husbandry relevant feeding presentations, the creation of a complete and comprehensive library of Standard Operating Procedures for the site, and the orchestration of the Large Exhibits team. Show less Founding Curatorial team member for the initial establishment of the Cairns Aquarium & Reef Research Centre, from its its primary construction phase through to launch and into its autonomy.Responsible for the installation of main Life Support Systems through orientation, plumbing, seeding and maturing and seawater reclamation; working alongside Aquatic Exhibits International Ltd.To ensure a safe and successful process for stocking all galleries, including a 1.6 million litre “Oceanarium”, 8 meter deep “Ribbon Reef” and 400,000 litre Freshwater “River Monsters” exhibits, showcasing Hammerhead sharks, Sphyrna lewini and Largetooth Sawfish, Pristis pristis.Worked closely with Aquatic Rockwork & Themeing Co. in the development of wet-side themeing, considering livestock and tank appropriate construction and materials, aesthetics and practical use.
