  Working with fellow students and an engineer from GSK while in 6th form at John Hampden Grammar School, I completed an engineering challenge resolving a problem in a production facility in a large plant. As a result of my work in this project I was awarded with a Gold Industrial Cadets award, along with an award from the Engineering Development Trust.

  Managed the publicity for the motorsport club at the University of Warwick, including all social media pages & real life advertising. Introduced the idea of round up videos after every round of the British Universities Karting Championship, showing members and sponsors the achievements of the club in a concise and enjoyable format.

  Worked as a Placement Engineer in the Test Operations department, where I was responsible for running tests on engines for Mechanical Development, Calibration and Engine Performance Development purposes. During the year I completed 5 certifications for a combination of both power and emissions standards and worked with multiple OEMs to develop their respective engines.

  Part of the Product Validation team. Responsibilities include defining the proven 'operating envelope' of the F1 V6 PU at the track, based on PU proveout on the dynos. Additionally responsible for proposing methods to increase the value of the running within the designated FIA dyno hours, whilst increasing the confidence interval of the proveout achieved.Further responsibilities include proposing strategies to most optimally use the allocation of PU hardware throughout the Formula 1 season, as well as developing internal software tools to better manage the data flow within the department.Tools and technologies used include MATLAB, ATLAS and VBA.
