      As a Strategic / Scenario Planner I was responsible for the compilation of one of the five chapters of the Provincial Strategic Plan as part of the Provincial Integrated Development Planning Framework; participated in facilitating the development and drafting of a Provincial Growth and Development Strategy; thee management of the provincial Cluster workgroup on Governance that dealt with transversal multi-sectoral corporate research, planning and training; facilitate Scenario Planning Process in workgroup cluster; ensure the integration of the plans of other Spheres of Government into the Provincial Growth and Development Strategy.1997-1999: Assistant Planner/ Development Planner (Provincial Government of the Western Cape)Facilitating corporate transversal (multi-sectoral) planning for the Province of the Western Cape; responsible for the facilitation of the Integrated Development Planning Frameworks on regional/ district level and working on the compilation of the Provincial Strategic Plan; doing research on social developmental issues, drafting of regional profiles and determining development needs in the Western Cape with the aim to address it through the Integrated Development Planning process.
