  Led the redesign of ODL, an integral component in IBM Watson AIOps’ data processing architecture. Improved performance by over 90% in time for Q2 release. Led the development of data pipelines and implemented comprehensive testing for Apache Kafka, Apache Camel-K, Elasticsearch, and a variety of other components in a microservice architecture. Worked on the compilation, assembly, documentation, and delivery of source code for WebSphere Developer Tools in preparation for bi-yearly release. Collaborated with the Eclipse Codewind team to improve website usability through new features including intelligent site-wide search of documentation and blogs. In the process, I also learned how to collaborate with other developers and contribute to remote code repositories through a Git Triangle Workflow.

I conducted literature reviews, built prototypes, prepared presentations, and participated in planning discussions to help determine software and research directions for IBM Watson Orchestrate, a natural-language-powered AI assistant.

  Under the supervision of Dr. Dafna Sussman, I helped develop machine learning models for the semantic segmentation of brain tumor MRI scans. I also contributed to novel techniques for classifying endometrial cancer biopsy images using latent variable models and attention mechanisms.

Fine-tuned large language models (LLMs) on medical datasets for clinical question answering, note-taking, and summarization.
