      Through the sustainability exchange program at WashU I worked on a team creating a new park for the north St Louis campus of the Urban League. We designed a park with native Missouri plants and to maximize stormwater drainage. I organized the budget and contacted vendors to complete equipment orders. We held a planting day at the end of May and successfully constructed the sustainable park on site.

My thesis centered around calculating shield stress for entrained sediment in the East Fork Black River that runs through Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park and how the shield stress impacts the fracture pattern of granite bedrock.
