  CEO of a non-operated JV company. I led the transformation of the company and its brand, starting with the refresh of the vision, mission and strategic pillars, to set the organization for the future growth. Implemented business excellence model with focus on cross-departmental strategies and aligned the organization around the common objectives, to position the company as industry leader in terms of productivity, green copper production and organizational culture.Currently SG:• is top decile in mine productivity and top quartile in plant productivity globally, with C1 cost of 1,61 USD/lb (@0,39% Cu) positioning the company in the first quartile in Chile;• has one of the lowest environmental impacts in the world, with 100% renewable energy and 100% seawater consumption;• boasts 86% employee satisfaction levels, while achieving the lowest labor intensity in Chilean mining.During my tenure, we increased plant output by further 5% (to 23% above design capacity) thanks to implementation of data driven approach, mine to mill artificial intelligence project and change of maintenance strategy. The main objectives were to:• develop a debottlenecking project for the concentrator plant, which increased its treatment capacity by 18% over the design;• renegotiate the existing energy contract to migrate to renewable energy; which eliminated 1M tons of Co2 emissions and generated 148M USD savings in the first 4 years;• implement lean and kaizen methodologies at the company level to foster operational excellence, which helped to position the company within first quartile in terms of unit cost in Chile.
