5th Position at the Dark Patterns Buster Hackathon 2023, IIT (BHU), Varanasi Ministry of Consumer Affairs Mar 2024 Secured 5th position at the Dark Patterns Buster Hackathon 2023, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, among 172+ teams. Our team, TransparencyTech Squad, developed "DarpanDrishti", a solution using AWS Lambda, cross-encoder machine learning models, and Transformer.js to identify deceptive design practices (dark patterns). We qualified for the Grand Finale, showcased our project, and received a ₹1 lakh cash prize on World Consumer Rights Day in Mumbai, presented by Shri Piyush Goyal and Shri Rohit Kumar Singh.
