      As a customer service trainer my job is to develop and coach individuals to reach the next level of their career. It is my duty to ensure they gain knowledge of our systems, whilst demonstrating exceptional customer service and adhering to the FCA and Data Protection. As part of my role I need to identify and communicate good and poor performance in delegates to them and their manager. I am also responsible for their wellbeing and safety and in some cases, with younger members of staff, making sure they are safeguarded. It’s important that I’m able to sensitively deal with any issues that may arise and create a happy environment to work in.My biggest achievement in this role was when I became the key trainer for our Collections department after 4 months in the role. Part of being the key trainer has saw me re-write the training material and deliver training of a huge system change to managers and staff. I also created a Data Protection Matrix that was rolled out to the entire business and effectively answered any queries that arose. I have also been part of other material updates including process flowcharts, manager packs and customer service courses.At the moment I work between three sites in Leicester and Doncaster and this has enabled me to work with a diverse range of people from all backgrounds and of all ages. I’m really passionate about people and my feedback shows that I am engaging, approachable and friendly. I am always looking for new ways to train and keep delegates engaged and pass these ideas on to my team, with the pace of the department it’s always good to keep training fresh and enjoyable. I have learnt that I am motivated by the success of others and being a part of that. I am really confident and clear in delivering material and ensuring that it is understood. Show less
