Greg developed detailed system specifications in liaise with an externally engaged software house in line with formal QA procedures, and monitored software development.       Responsibilities:Within the Business Systems Unit of Telstra’s' Corporate and Government Division, a small MIS team developed and maintained a data warehouse of some 800 Gigabytes of data (large for it's time). At that time, in the deregulated Telecommunications market Telstra had approx. 200,000 Corporate & Government Customers Australia Wide. Relevant data was extracted from numerous major Billing and Provisioning Source systems within Telstra. This Decision Support Environment resided on an ORACLE RDBMS, and provided strategic information to Telstra’s' Product Managers, National and Regional Sales and Marketing Managers to name a few.
