The complex has a built up area of 160,000 m2 and spreads over an area of 350,000 m2. The works include all civil, electro-mechanical and finishing works in addition to site development.Duties include coordination of all design development and approval processes. Follow up time schedule agreed for the design development and shop drawings with subcontractors. Prepare and implement a drawing management system. Supervise production of shop drawings and monitor their submittal with regard to the construction schedule. Coordinate the approval of drawings and their distribution to the concerned site personnel. Review contract documents and advise the Project Manager on technical matters affecting construction and time costs. Prepare and follow up queries thru continuous communication and discussions with Consultant and Client representative regarding technical design matters. Raise variation orders resulting from change of design and as per Client requirement and report to Management the technical position of the variation. Responsible for the preparation of material list and long lead item list and their compliance to specifications. Make sure material submittal is in line with the Construction schedule. Assist the Project Manager in the management of Subcontractors works and point out any technical deviation. Support the Construction team with all related technical matters. Show less
