  Provide the necessary leadership to contribute towards an effective safety organization & formulating safety policies to suggest improvement needed for job execution. The main objective being able to create a Safe, Healthy and Environmentally acceptable working conditions throughout the project. Ensure that all work on the rig site is to be carried out as per company HSE manual. Insure that all safety equipment and monitors are in place, functioning ready for use. Insure and continuously train rig crew to the use of escape and rescue breathing equipment’s. Conduct safety inspections on rig site and report deviation to management. Ensure all employees are inducted prior to permit to work on rig site. Ensure no sub-contractor is permitted to work on rig site without being in possession of a safety file. Identify and evaluate the risks to which employees may be exposed to, evaluate and analyze the risks identified and ensure that these risk assessments are then communicated to the work force. Prepare the site emergency evacuation plan in case of needed. Compile monthly man hour and injury reports and send them to WSM & NDSC safety manager. Chair daily, weekly and monthly safety meetings with safety reps. & contractors, prepare minutes of meetings. Ensure that all deviations mentioned in the meeting are rectified and corrected. Conduct regular BOP, H2S, hazard hunt, fire prevention and rig equip. inspections with findings documented and reported to WSM and safety manager. Ensure all registers and check lists are updated on a weekly and monthly basis. Ensure all safety signs and notices are prominently displayed on site. Ensure that only authorized persons enter the rig site. Coordinate all training of employees on site and schedule all courses with the safety department. Ensure that all crews conduct a toolbox talk. عرض أقل

  Ensure that any person who is suspected to be under the influence of intoxicating substances is tested and the appropriate disciplinary action is taken against that employee if necessary.To develop awareness among employees about the necessity of a safety programmed in their routine activities, also to encourage them to take safety as a habit or part of life more than mandatory.· To develop the company's documentations like HSEMS Plan, Road Safety Plan, Waste Management Plan, Emergency Plan etc. pertaining to the client requirements.· Prepare Daily / Weekly/ safety reports returns for submission to client.· Prepare Accident / Incident reports to find out the causes and adopting proper preventive measures.· To investigate all Accidents & Near misses for root causes & recommendations to prevent similarities.
