      PRESIDENT/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, 2016 - 2024Collaboratively delivered the strategic vision of a $60M foundation with a 16-member Board of Directors. Cultivated and stewarded deep and enduring relationships with professional advisors, donors, and community partners to maximize the philanthropic impact of the only major funder in a geographically disbursed, under-resourced county. Supervised a team of 10 to optimize the delivery of exceptional donor service, communications, financial accountability, operational excellence, grantmaking, and community initiatives. Managed a $1.1M operating budget, $4.2M in reserves, $3.0M in annual grants, and 220 funds (88% living donors).• Co-created and directed strategic planning process in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including operational analysis, implementation strategies, performance metrics, and accountability tools and culminating in the development of a new vision/mission/values and DEI-oriented policies and strategic goals.• Conceptualized external messaging strategy, mapped strategic content creation, rebranding, and digital implementation processes, and developed print material and electronic media. • Improved performance and risk management to elevate the Foundation’s internal reporting systems, adopting an OCIO strategy and implementing ESG and manager selection criteria.• Raised and leveraged over $12.5M in funding in response to fires/storms and the COVID-19 pandemic. Deployed and strategized all phases of disaster management, including chairing the wildfire long-term recovery committee and designing programs to support individuals, small businesses, and the nonprofit sector during the pandemic.
