  I led the charge of our Legal team at the NAACP. We began as one of the first Branch's to take legal complaints and attempt to resolve and mediate a successful resolution to concerns mostly involving both City of Ypsilanti government and Ypsilanti Police Department. I was co-chair of the Driving While Black coalition that was formed in Washtenaw County as well representing the NAACP.

  I served on the Senior Advisory Council of the Oakland County Board Of Commissioners. I was appointed to represent the 8th District on behalf of Commissioner Phil Wipert and we cover the City of South Lyon, City of Wixom, Lyon Township, Village of Milford and Milford Township. We advised on issues of concern to seniors. This was a public body where each Commissioner has a representative and we have 4 members at large. What an Honor to have been of service.
