My degrees culminated in the successful completion of an honors thesis where I examined versions of the Tristian and Isolde story throughout time and explored how the culture in which the version existed helped to shape the way the tale was told. This project now stands as a chapter in his book on the subjects and a paper on the topic was presented at the Society for American Archaeology in 2020. Show less

My degree culminated in the successful competed of a Master's Thesis on the topic of Masculinity in Animal/Monster-Groom Tales. I also completed a project on Scottish ghost stories in which I created a system for logging and categorizing ghost stories by type, archetype, recurring themes, motifs, and location.
