      On completion of my apprenticeship I was part of a mutliskilled maintenance team responsible for keeping the plant working. The role varied greatly and could in clued being tasked to go and assist the teams on site providing technical knowledge and expertise to complex parts of equipment and plant, or removal of equipment to a central location where it would be overhauled and repaired.This could be anything from simple table rollers, to very large continuous caster segments and diesel hydraulic/electric locomotives. Other duties included, liaising with the Year 11 Senior Tutor on all matters academic and pastoral that may be troubling my students. Running the Playroom Accounts and holding the budgets, and reporting to the Finance Director at the end of each term. I managed a team of 6 teachers/tutors who worked in the boarding house, supporting me in my role.
