  Worked with experts in political polling to develop a tool capable of transforming raw SPSS files into flexible, client-ready visualizations. Designed all necessary database structures and coded stored procedures for loading, querying, and updating polling data. Devised a system allowing for the fast modification and standardization of variables across polls, reducing time from data arrival to reportability to near zero, while maintaining flexibility should the reporter wish to make alterations after the fact.Created reporting interfaces in Tableau and Shiny that allowed users to specify arbitrarily complex queries ("How many men in Alaska who like Apple products strongly approve of Obama's economic policies in September 2013?") in a point-and-click manner, and return crosstabs or charts in seconds.
