  # Started my career as Graduate Engineer Trainee in Escorts Ltd. in 1985 through on-campus selection in College of Agricultural Engineering, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana ( 1981 -85). # Held various positions in the Sales and Marketing in Escorts Ltd. covering various states in the country ( 1985-2000).# Worked as Service Engineer followed by sales stint as Assistant Manager Sales covering markets in Punjab. Job profile was to manage sales, service and parts business of tractors through a network of dealers ( 1985-1992).# Elevated and given the position of Area Manager to cover the territory of Rajasthan. Responsible for revival of tractor sales in the state (1992-95).# Elevated and given the position in Marketing Services department of Escorts Ltd. Handled Advertising, Market Research & Product Development (1995-2000). I was a part of new Product Development Teams comprising of R&D, Manufacturing & Marketing.
