      I worked as part of a managed service supporting three programmes of work. 1) Delivery of a new Space, Range & Display solution for Foods products. Two 3rd party applications were hosted by M&S and integrated with each other as well as existing applications. Budget £14m. 2) Delivery of a new Forecasting, Supplier Ordering and Replenishment solution for Foods products. A single 3rd party application was initially hosted by the vendor, before being migrated to the M&S data centre and integrated with existing applications. Budget £20m. 3) Delivery of the HR transformation programme intended to outsource the existing payroll to an externally hosted 3rd party vendor, deliver an online HR portal, an online e-learning/training solution and a new time entry solution for store staff. The new payroll solution had to integrate with all existing HR applications, including PeopleSoft and SAP. Budget £10m. Responsibilities: - Project management: defining scope; planning; budget responsibility; RAID management. - Manage internal, contract and 3rd party matrix resources; based onsite, offsite and offshore. - Environment provision: requirements; designs; capacity planning; build, integration, storage, alerting, code release, data refresh, backup / restore, etc; completion of OAT. - Cutover and go live: planning; successful delivery of go live to plan; transition of the service to support. Project Work (Budgets between £10-£14m): - Delivery of infrastructure needed to integrate 3rd party applications with each other as well as existing distributed and mainframe applications. The Windows 7 upgrade project was spilt according to the different areas of the business. I was responsible for delivery of two of the sub projects, the Infrastructure project and the Corporate Head Office project, although I was only responsible for delivery of the Corporate Head Office pilot due to the end date of my contract.
