  Unfortunately I had to fire the cobbler elves that would come in while everyone was gone, to make sure our work was complete, and that it was at a quality that exceeded our customer's expectation. I'm am sad to say, it did exceed our customer's expectations, but it did not exceed mine. I am a perfectionist... (some of you may disagree, but keep in mind, perfection is a relative term when applied in a mortal environment) and the elves.... well they just were not up to par. So we just stay later, complete the work before our deadline. Fortunate for me, my other operators, designers, sales staff and business partners, share the same mentality as far as job quality and turnaround time/availability. Lucky for me, when I had the staff meeting with the cobbler elves, they tried to keep their positions by bribing me with 2 of the newest, state of the art pieces of equipment in the industry... The LONG SOUGHT AFTER, 3D printed PAPER STRETCHER!!!! Yes you read right, a myth throughout the printing industry since Gutenberg began printing in 1440... They also brought the elusive Time Stretcher 2000... This is an older model, but it will do nicely until the prices and availability to come down on other time stretcher models, but until then, we have acclimated ourselves to the current versions that were provided by the elves... Needless to say, they did not keep the after hours positions. However, we have excelled, installed new printers, have newer capabilities.
