  I joined the acclaimed PwC Newcastle Corporate Finance practice in May of 2013. The team provides a full range of M&A and financial advisory services across all industry sectors, from acquisitions through to raising finance. My role involves providing advice on disposals, acquisitions, buy-outs and strategic options to corporate clients, private equity houses and management teams.Deals which I have worked on in my first six months include three transactions which have successfully completed with PE investment: - the investment in Express Engineering (Holdings) Limited, one of the UK's leading providers of higth end precision manufacturing services to the global oil and gas industry, by Lloyds Development Capital - the simultaneous acquisition of the trade and assets of Burdon Limited, a provider of precision engineering services to the industrial, defence, automotive, aerospace and oil and gas industries by Express Engineering - the sale of Fine Industries Limited, a contract manufacturer of bespoke high quality fine chemicals, to NorthEdge Capital and management Show less I joined the PwC Newcastle audit practice in September 2009 as part of their graduate training programme. Whilst undertaking my ACA qualification, I worked with a wide range of audit clients; from private family run businesses, to global retail organisations, to multinational plcs, in industries as varied as retail, agriculture, healthcare and transport. In this role I successfully incharged large plc group audits. I consistently demonstrated strengths in building and sustaining good client relationships, with strong organisation and team leadership skills, and thorough and concise documentation. Show less
