      Physiology (Medicine), University of Galway, investigating the neurobiology of social motivation and cognition, in particular the role of the body's' endogenous opioid system.During my time in Dr. Roches lab I have become proficient in a range of laboratory techniques such as PCR, ELISA, protein analysis and Western Blot. This Travel bursary allowed me to present my own original research at the meeting, network with others in my field of interest and gain valuable feedback on my work.
