      During my time at Trident Gear Cutting, I worked primarily with steel and other metals, but also nylon and tuffnel. I operated a variety of machinery including, but not limited to gear planers, gear hobbers, manual lathes, mills and drill presses as well as slotters and shapers. I have experience with CNC mills and lathes. I am familiar with the C-Tech interface on CNC mills and I have some experience coding with G-code on CNC lathes. I have experience with both Arc welders and MIG welders (wire-fed CO2). I am competent with all general workshop power tools.I have done fitting in the form of bearing, seal and part replacements of gearboxes - including worm gear and bevel gear assemblies. This occasionally involved complete stripping, re-assembly and sealing of boxes.Over my time at Trident Gear Cutting I machined from roughing tolerance to zero tolerance.
