  Following a successful placement within the Credit Derivatives Confirmations team I was identified by the Change Management team as an individual who was always thinking of process improvements and ways to enhance the efficiency of the team. As a result the Change Management team offered me a role as a Fixed Income Derivatives Business Analyst/Project Manager. Selected for the UBS Investment Bank's "Analyst Training Programme" following a successful Summer Internship with the bank. I was placed within the Credit Derivatives Confirmations Team for my day-to-day role whilst also engaging in tailored activities for the Graduate class of 2005 including a course and examination in Derivatives Pricing and Valuation, based near Zurich, Switzerland. I completed the program in June 2007.

  Headhunted by my previous Change Management line manager at UBS Investment Bank I was offered an exciting opportunity to work with a new start-up FX Brokerage firm called FIXI PLC as their Director of IT. Primarily responsible for all projects, IT implementations and process improvements I also managed the Operations team, led meetings with our vendors and maintained the relationships with the banks and major clients on a day-to-day basis.

  Returning to Derivatives I secured an offer with the Northern Trust Derivatives Change Management Group as a Senior Business Analyst. This opportunity allowed me to vastly increase my experience of OTC Derivatives and lifecycle management having previously been solely focused on Rates/Credit Confirmations at UBS Investment Bank. I was now responsible for projects involving all OTC Asset Classes and the full life-cycle from Trade Capture through to Collateral Management, Confirmations, Pricing, Settlements and Regulatory Reporting.I was also the first point of contact for our Derivatives clients delivering existing client change and also facing off to new buy-side clients onboarding their OTC Derivatives business to Northern Trust for Investment Operations Outsourcing.
