  Currently working on young adult science fiction novels.I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), a key benefit of which is attending the North-West group's meetings where we critique each others' work. It is a privilege and a pleasure to help edit someone's writing - spotting inconsistencies or plot holes and helping them bring out the heart of what they're truly wanting to say. Cross-team responsibility for marketing and communications: - brand management- producing internal and external copy (e.g. half-termly electronic newsletters, conference/meeting invitations, booklets, etc.)- commissioning, writing and proofreading news articles, blogs and pages for the website- creating school resources and presentations.As Hepp are jointly funded by The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, I have many opportunities for partnership working and collaboration with both universities as well as other organisations including HeppSY+, Enterprise Coordinators and SY Futures. I also provided a significant amount of support for the Placement Administrator including finding potential placements on the internet; sending emails, letters and Blackboard notifications; managing the Placements Noticeboard; and organising Skype interviews for a German placement provider, as well as interview schedules for University of Sheffield placements.
