Show less Implementing a post-financial crisis regulation mandated by the Prudential Regulation Authority(BCBS 239). The primary objective of the regulation was to improve the quality of risk reporting at Royal Bank of Scotland. Successfully managing a number of projects to improve credit risk reporting, from inception to completion. Partnering with senior stakeholders across the bank, including the Chief Credit Officer, to ensure delivery of project objectives were in line with bank strategy and met the highest possible standards. Managing a budget of over £3 million over the course of three years, and successfully ensuring costs remained within project tolerances. Managing a team of 5-10, with a focus on personal development and wellbeing. This was achieved via regular ‘one to one’ meetings and objectives planning. One of my team went on to be promoted into a project management role. Ensuring complex, multi-year plans remained on target. This entailed regularly reviewing the quality, scope and viability of these projects via a robust governance and change control process. Ensuring transparency and good stakeholder management via the development and execution of a robust reporting and communication strategy. Proactive management of project risks, issues and dependencies through regular review and governance. Working with cross-functional teams across the bank, to ensure the right mix of expertise and insight in successful delivery of these projects.
