  I work with a team of Medical and nutritional experts to ensure the best treatment for a diverse range of patients, specialising in Alzheimer's,Dementia and the management of chronic conditions. Psychological and mental aspects which impact the body and can lead to clinical imbalances such as structural integrity, energy, assimilation mentally, emotionally and physically. In therapy I see these propelled by defences, projections and numerous other psychological and emotional mechanisms. I’m integrated because I find working in a singular modality unhelpful. In integrating a number of psychotherapeutic approaches and models, I see the advantage of being able to fully support the highly individual and diverse needs of the patient. Through this way of working it can change session to session and moment to moment depending on what the person is bringing and the blocks they have. I work with traditional psychoanalytic practices as well as humanistic and person centred approaches together with CBT to combat Negative Automatic Thoughts and schemas. I also employ Transactional Analysis , Gestalt and Gendlin into my work.​I have seen this way of working support many patients who are being treated through functional medicine. Both therapeutic approaches, in counselling and psychotherapy and the medical side in the functional medicine matrix seem to support and cross pollinate each other.​I have worked for CRI, the countries largest drug and alcohol addiction agency as well as working in depth with bereavement for Cruse Bereavement Care. Currently I’m working with youth development (11-25 year olds) for local authorities and in private practice, where a large body of my work is with abuse, addiction, bereavement, family therapy, couples and relationships.
