      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Participate in the training of Enumerators to get a good understanding of the content of the questionnaire, use of the questionnaire, and field work arrangements. Pre-testing of data collection tools. Gather data in district`s chiefdoms, communities and health facilities as assigned. Collect Rapid Assessment data in households guided by the proposed plan for selecting households and respondents. Data will be collected using an electronic Open Data Kit (ODK).  Collect Client Exit Interview quantitative and qualitative data in selected health facilities. Record GPS at intended locations upon arrival in the community and PHU and also before leaving the facility.  Understand individual and community level factors that may influence health seeking behaviours and access and of RMNCH services including socio-cultural norms, attitude towards health care workers and perceptions of services.  Conduct Client Exit Interviews using ODK device.  Describe experience with health system.  Explore community strengths, needs and preparedness to promote and facilitate improved RMNCH behaviours among community members including resources, level of leadership, community interest and participation, decision-making, efficacy and social cohesion.  Conduct 3 Focus Group Discussions with community members and Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) to assess community readiness and capacity for HIV prevention using Audio Recorder. Each FGD’s will consist of 8-10 female participants, lay members, elders, etc.  Derive evidence-based recommendations for strategic programme development and media content planning to promote RMNCH behaviours in Sierra Leone.  Report interview progress and submit information online to Field Supervisor.  Compile literature reports from the audio device at the end of each Focus Group Discussions before final submission to Field Supervisor.        Conduct psychosocial assessment at community, health facility and individual level as well as carry out follow-up psychosocial assessment at individual level.  Train community members of the Psychosocial Support Groups (PSSGs) on Basic Psychosocial Components for Emergency Response as well as guide them on strengthening community resilience and provide awareness on Mental Health and Social Services Referral system.  Train Primary HealthCare Staff of Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) and Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children`s Affairs (MSWGCA) on Basic Psychosocial Components for Emergency Response and foster referral coordination among the service providers.  Facilitate partnership and Inter-Agency Coordination in relation to psychosocial programmes (e.g. PSS Pillar/Child Protection Committee meetings) and supporting coordination activities that promote MHPSS and emergency response.  Provide psychosocial support (PSS) in emergency response to affected people in coordination with Community Care Centres, MOHS & MSWGCA, community stakeholders and other service providers. Provide psychosocial support to those individuals presenting at/admitted to health facilities and CCC.  Required to use his/her listening and inter-personal skills creatively to ensure the dignity of patients and their families.  Required to work with other professionals to ensure a cohesive team oriented approach to patient care.  Responsible for delivering psychosocial support and health promotion messages to vulnerable individuals and communities.  Adhere strictly to all safety and infection prevention and control policies laid down by MOHS.
