  • Experience

    • Los Angeles City Attorney

      Jun 2016 - Aug 2016
      Law Clerk

My work as a Clerical Intern at the Harbor Branch of the City Attorney’s Office taught me to accurately track communal activity, succinctly summarize hearings, and efficiently respond to any questions or requests for information. It also helped me to develop the ability to conduct legal research in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining acute attention to detail.

    • LAPD Harbor Division

      Jun 2020 - Aug 2020
Intern for The Harbor City Police Deputy City Attorney

My internship alternated between the station and the courtrooms under the guidance of Panagiotis Panagiotou, Deputy City Attorney. I got to understand law enforcement from a street level and attended ride-alongs with the Lieutenants. My work required summarizing different types of documents including newspaper articles, government documents, and academic journal articles.

    • Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office

      Aug 2021 - Dec 2021
      Law Clerk

The Airport Branch of the District Attorney’s Office provided me invaluable knowledge and experience during the Fall Quarter. I worked on preliminary hearings, looked into google search warrants, researched cases, and learned about what the county does to help both victims and imprisoned people. I worked with all levels of law enforcement and offered my services to the Inglewood Juvenile Branch in my free time. Many thanks to my mentors DDA Shane Michael, DDA Duke Ho, DDA Eugene Miyata, and my supervisor Danette Meyers. I am extremely grateful to have worked with such a capable team—one that helped shut down Robert Durst and many other offenders during my time with them. Show less

    • SJL Law LLP

      May 2024 - Aug 2024
      Law Clerk

While at SJL Law, I had the opportunity to draft multiple motions, primarily for summary judgment and adjudication. I also conducted extensive legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis to support these motions and compiled and organized all the necessary supporting documents. One of the highlights of my experience was witnessing a case I contributed to finish with a global settlement, where I observed the mediation process firsthand. The team at SJL Law provided exceptional mentorship, and I am truly grateful for the invaluable experience and knowledge I gained working alongside them. Show less
