    • Louise Eddy Freelance Writer

      Sept 2016 - now
      Freelance Writer

I am a writer, journalist, photographer & blogger. A born storyteller and weaver of magic. All my life I have used words and photographs to spin tales of adventure, joy, sorrow, beauty, and triumph of the human spirit. I would feel privileged to take these same skills and weave the story of your business, your achievements, your family, your life. I was born in country NSW and grew up there. I studied professional writing (journalism, scriptwriting, and novel writing) at the University of Canberra and further Journalism subjects at Deakin University. I completed a cadetship with a regional daily newspaper and went on to spend more than 20 years in the newspaper industry. During that time I have won both journalism and photographic awards. I have also worked in radio. My love of telling stories has led me all over Australia and overseas. I have travelled widely and one of my great loves has been recording what I see through my travel blog To The Far Corners.I am a hard worker and professional in all that I do, and while writing and photography provide me with my greatest joy, I also love connecting with people, cooking, telling stories, and inspiring others (and myself) to live a rich and beautiful life.
