       Coordinated overall malaria and NTD activities conducted in 24 woredas of Ilubabor Zonal Health Office on behalf of Oromia Regional Health Bureau and successfully achieved the set goals like; o Strengthened the IPLS system so that anti-malaria commodities stock is monitored, o Always emphasized and worked hard that all suspected malaria cases are tested and given appropriate medication if positiveo Ensured that all delivered LLINs has reached the beneficiary based on the set standardo Coordinated and achieved that the IRS operations are conducted based on the target on an annual basiso Strengthened the reporting and documentation system at all levels via conducting supervision and training Harmonized the supports given to strengthen Malaria Prevention and Control activities carried out by Governmental and Non Governmental Organizations working on malaria programs in the Zone. Worked closely with partners working on malaria programs in the Zone like Abt Associates (IRS), SMMES/ACIPH (Malaria Surveillance and Data Quality), whose source of funds is PMI/USAID, and other similar partners.o Managed the annual IRS Operation conducted by Abt Associates in four woredas of Ilubabor.o Worked closely with SMMES Project COP and Malaria Surveillance Officers in strengthening Didesa Woreda Malaria Surveillance and Data Quality.        Responsible to lead malaria surveillance-related activities (i.e., training, supportive supervision, review meetings, and others) carried out in 90 project districts found in Oromia, Amhara, Diredawa, Harari, and Afar Regions. Participated in all levels of large scale studies (Designing of data collection tools, training of data collectors, supervision of data collection, data cleaning, analysis, and write-up of final results) conducted by the institute: LLINs longevity study, safety, and Tolerability of PQ, Randomized Controlled trial on tMDA/RCD. Monitor and evaluate the mentorship, Routine data quality assessment (RDQA), and Malaria program review meeting activities carried out by project staffs along with Regional, Zonal and Woreda level staffs Provide technical assistance (which includes providing training, participating in the development of guidelines and protocols, participating in Joint Supportive Supervisions conducted on malaria program and others) to FMoH/NMCEP and RHB based on the assignment of Project Chief of Party (CoP).  Facilitated course (Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Research Methods, and Population Studies) to Master of Public Health students.       - Leading the co-design and co-implementation of PMI-funded malaria vector control activities in country in close coordination with Ministry of Health (NMEP), District Health Offices, and community members. This position is responsible for ensuring the project’s ITNs strategies and activities are targeted, integrated, and equitable.- Directly supervises and mentors ITN logistics coordinator and other ITN technical staff - Manages the overall planning and implementation of all ITNs activities, including:o Developing annual activity targets, quantifications, and schedules,o Lead household registrations and managing relations with community members,o Organizing annual micro- planning meetings with NMCP, Regional Health Bureaus, targeted districts and other local stakeholderso Recommending and coordinating ITN product selection with all involved stakeholders –national, technical, and local – based on the latest knowledge, data, and trendso Leading targeting, registrations, and technical approach for ITN mass campaignso Quantifying ITNs, personnel, transportation needs, and all other supplies for distributionso Organizing planning meetings, community mobilization, and technical trainings.o Coordinating with project M&E staff to design and manage robust ITN monitoring activities.o Oversees the management of warehouses, supply chain, and stores for ITNs.o Ensuring adherence to USAID/PMI BMP for ITNs, IRS and LSMo Oversees logistics for all project activities, including IRS/LSM campaigns, routine and/or mass ITN distributions, and other events such as trainings, workshops and meetings, etc.o Oversees information, education, and communication (IEC) activities, community mobilization, and troubleshooting for all ITNs activities.o Achieves ITNs related Monitoring & Evaluation indicators of the project.o Contributes to development and delivery of the country capacity strengthening plan to transfer integrated vector control skills to local institutions. Show less  Worked with MEL Manager in leading the collection, organization, analysis, and presentation of program data. Partipated in preparation and timely submission of weekly progress reports and client deliverables. Prepared or reviewed M&E guidelines/standards/protocols along other M&E team members. Co-lead the training of M&E assistants and data entry clerks. Co-lead in preparing the project for possible data quality audits to ensure validity, integrity, precision, reliability, and timeliness of all performance data, identifying gaps and suggesting timely corrective actions. Supervised/mentored the M&E assistants and DECs hired on the project. Worked closely with the operations team and district supervisors to provide routine feedback during vector control campaigns to help increase data-driven decisions. Co-designed, reviewiew and tested M&E tools for reporting formats and data collection.  Built DHIS2 capacity within partners/actors in-country. Tracked and reported data on all project indicators, prepared monitoring and evaluation plans, as well as contributed to MEL workplans, annual reports, and other contractual project documents. Frequently traveled to implementing Districts and field sites for routine monitoring, program supervision, and support and frequent communication with site and Global Support Team to report on activity progress.
