  A group composed of researchers from UFSJ and UFMG whose collaboration began in 2010 and culminated in its formalization in 2014, and the inauguration of a laboratory. In the regional context, the group is a reference, attracting the interest of undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to their training with scholarships and projects, in addition to working with companies and communities in the state. Internationally, the group's presence is achieved through publications in high-impact journals, participation in relevant conferences and collaborations with foreign researchers. In total, they are responsible for dozens of articles in journals, more than a hundred in conferences, 5 book chapters and 2 edited books. Show less

Reporting directly to the company's COO.Results Achieved: Development of the visual management model working with network KPIs (Availability, MTTR, MTBF and TA) and service KPIs (NPS, SLA, NS, PCA, TMA and TME). Creation of a structure of N1, N2 and N3 together with a career plan that resulted in the emergence of the company's CGR (Network Management Center). Show less Activities performed: One of the people responsible for the entire management of the FTTH, HFC, CATV and Wireless network infrastructure for a base of 25k subscribers; skills in supporting and configuring Fiberhome, Nokia and ZTE OLTs; skills in managing and configuring HP and Supermicro servers in Linux and Windows environments; skills in managing and configuring Juniper, Huawei, Mikrotik and Cisco routers and switches (PPPoE, DHCP, L2/L3 switches, OSPF and BGP); technical support for external maintenance teams.Results achieved: Development of the Zabbix/Grafana monitoring project that monitors more than 80 thousand FTTH clients and all of Master's CWDM and DWDM circuits. In this project, a monitoring system was developed that allows us to instantly identify fiber breaks in FTTH clients, reducing the number of field maintenance operations across the company by up to 25%.
