  As a server, my responsibilities included providing high-quality table services to the residents at the nursing home as well as creating a positive and friendly dining experience to them. During my time working at Friendship Village, it was my job to make sure that the residents were treated with dignity and received the correct meal that they desired.

  As a direct service provider, it is my responsibility to make sure that the consumer I am assigned to completes any task that is on their schedule for that day. This includes transportation to a different location, assistance purchasing groceries, using the restroom/showering, or daytime activities/trips. It is my job to give the highest quality care to individuals with disabilities and to be as inclusive and helpful as I possibly can be.

  Classroom Assistant

  At Stages, I am a classroom assistant. It is my responsibility to make sure that the children I am with receive lunch, have their diaper changed, and are laid down for their afternoon nap. I help assist the lead teacher of the classroom as well with anything that they need help with. It is my job to create a nurturing and loving environment for the kids where they are able to grow and learn.
