Here is a description of a preschool teacher's job:As a preschool teacher, the primary job is to design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities that support children's development in areas such as language, math, science, art, and social skills. These plans are tailored to the individual needs and interests of the children in their care.I had to observe and assess each child's progress and adjust their teaching strategies to accommodate the varying developmental levels of the children.One of the important tasks is to help children develop important social and emotional skills, such as conflict resolution, self-regulation, empathy, and communication. Effective communication with parents or guardians is essential for this role.We had to provide regular updates on children's progress, share concerns, and maintain an open line of communication to ensure the child's needs are being met both at home and in school.To maintain the safety and healthy environment we had to keep the classroom clean and organized, address any safety concerns, and are trained in basic first aid and CPR.I also worked with children who have special needs or developmental delays. I tried to adapt the teaching methods to accommodate these children and may collaborate with specialists or support staff.Staying current on best practices in early childhood education is important. Many preschool teachers participate in ongoing training and professional development to continually improve their skills and knowledge.Maintaining records of children's progress, which can include assessments, observations, and developmental milestones.I had to facilitate a parent-teacher conference twice a year to discuss a child's progress, challenges, and goals.   I have successfully completed a cohort in Scrum Life Consulting by attending their hands-on training program called Scrum Immersion Program. We developed a mobile app for aspiring Scrum Masters to give them a good understanding about the Scrum role and its principles. Being a Scrum Master I facilitated the team with required resources and provided them an environment enabling them to work more efficiently, collaboratively, and deliver higher quality products.-Guided the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.-Assessed the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coached the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team.-Led a team of 9 in the development of a mobile app using the Scrum framework.-Coached Product Owner on creating user stories and prioritization of Product Backlog.-Created a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.-Facilitated the team by getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work -Facilitated the discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution-Trained team on the use of story pointing, using relative sizing and capacity planning.-Ensured mutual understanding of user stories which led to increased quality of functionality delivered. -Supported the team when unexpected changes in the capacity of work emerged. -Navigated the tools efficiently to ensure transparency among the team so that they can inspect and adapt quickly. -Led by example by upholding Scrum values and ensuring values were enacted and mutually understood.-Facilitated the team's Scrum ceremonies like the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives while utilizing tools including JIRA, Teams, and Confluence.
