Analysing Course validation questionnaires and implementing changes when required.Key achievements:Developing and implementation of pre learning material for use by students before they start their courses, also the ability to check the progress of students on these courses. The creation of the E-learning material itself, using commercial software. This cuts down on length of the course, the time students are away from their primary duties and therefore cost.       High Performance Imaging SolutionsHigh performance imaging systems across space, science, medical and industrial markets demand performance and reliability levels beyond those available from conventional sensors.e2v has over 30 years’ experience in designing, manufacturing and delivering supply chain management against high performance imaging requirements, including CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor), CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and EMCCD (Electron Multiplying CCD) imaging sensors, arrays and cameras; operating across the electromagnetic spectrum from x-ray, through ultraviolet and visible light, to near infrared.Our expertise has resulted in our involvement in some of the highest profile imaging projects, including being the eyes for NASA’s Hubble space telescope and providing the largest sensor array (106 sensors making a 1 GPixel array) for ESA’s GAIA mission to map the Milky Way.As The Systems Engineering Manager, I manage a team of 30 engineers. The team are multi skilled electronic, software, mechanical design and mechanical technicians. My team design special to type control and test electronics and hardware for use in testing imaging CCD/CMOS devices using specifications from the clients. Show less The Test Systems Engineering Team is responsible for the design and development of new camera systems for driving e2v CCDs and CMOS imagers. This covers both single cameras using Electron-Multiplying CCD (EMCCD) technology and large systems for astronomy and space imagers.With a team made up of 25+ electronic, software and mechanical specialist engineers, with the support of a small group of technicians. The team also provides support to the Product Engineers and Production services in the maintenance and modification of all Test systems.Day to day management of a highly skilled team with wide ranging skills also including electronic/ mechanical design, In-house speciality software production, optics and cryo technologies.Ensuring correct resources are allocated to project teams and that engineers are not over allocated ensuring projects run on time.Selection of team members and training of the individual are important parts of this role.
