  The water systems that I currently work for have about 300 service connections. I say systems because I work for Llano Del Rio Water and Llano Mutual Water. My role for the water companies is the operator with a crew of two guys. I work with the two man crew in digging when fixing a leak; I have no problem jumping in the hole and working. Other tasks that I do for the company include; flushing hydrants, meter reading, installing meters, system check, chlorine tests (free and total), kept track of inventory of meters and parts, adjusting chlorine pump, know how to navigate the SCADA system we use, deal with customers, investigate customer complaints and get them resolved, take water samples and delivered them to the lab, answer phones in the office, use excel, word and outlook. I have had five years of experience and want to learn more. Provide potable drinking water to customers. I also have my D2 license (Water Distribution license) through the state of California.
