  Tata Consultancy Services:- Hartford Financial Group Inc.Project 4: DMODescription:- Products team is to manage all the products (Individual annuities/Group Annuities/Mutual funds) of The Hartford Insurance Group. This application caters primarily to managers, brokers and customers. Data from source are loaded into the target tables through mappings and then moved to data marts and reports are created. Oracle and Informatica are used for the creation of the mappings and Business Objects is used for the creation of reports. I was involved in the Data warehouse load of data, and developed the staging area from the source system via staging schemas to the mart.Tactical solution which will reduce the Thick GL to Thin GL by building Financial Data ware house system i. e. Foundation Data Storage (FDS). Show less

  Tata Consultancy Services:- Humana Inc.Project 1:- Lab Implementation & OperationDescription:-Project is based on Lab Data Feeds that will process all lab result from vendor to validate the claims are made correct or not.Project is based on the requirements for updating the Lab Feed infrastructure for loading lab value data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Updates to the Lab Feed infrastructure are necessary to support the increasing volume of the Humana Lab feeds that need processing and apply standards to the Lab data being utilized from the EDW.Lab results add value in the management of member health by clinical associates. In order to maximize the value of these records, Humana needs to restructure the business rules and technologies used to capture, process, report and utilize this data. The entire data mart was re-designed and several Oracle function were written to support the transition. The existing data was migrated from Informatica to Oracle. Data from various external systems like Anvita, EDW, SDR are integrated into one massive reporting data mart.The Datamart is refreshed daily during the nightly ETL process and various reports are generated to facilitate nurses to do daily activities and business analyst to perform trend analysis. Hartford product line are Group Benefits, Retirement Programs, Mutual Funds (Institutional), Investment Management, Reinsurance & International and also supports Annuities, Mutual Funds, Automobile, Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Flood Insurance, Life Insurance, College Savings, International AARP endorsed Products and Online Commerce Protection for individuals.As a part of QP3 - Dimension and Fact tables for Commercial Lines Data Mart were to be built for data from source applications. Source applications here normally exists in external oracle OLTP DBs and it contain all the transactional data. Data integration was performed using ETL framework. The framework comprises of procedures built in Oracle Exadata platform that eases and encapsulates some of the ETL steps like performing change data capture, surrogate key generation, one to one loading and eliminating the duplicates.
