  I still remember helping my Grandmother cook our family's meals. Sifting weevils and husks from the rice, cleaning out the chicken, descaling and deboning fish, all those hands on cooking that is missing from today's kitchens. By being a Jamie Oliver's Learn Your Fruit and Veg facilitator I get to pass on that love of hands-on cooking to the youngsters. It is a no heat & no meat incursion, and they get to eat what they make. :) A part time demonstrator of cooking classes by interacting with the students, making sure they are having a great time learning new cooking skills as per Jamie Oliver's principles.I also volunteer in the Get Connected research program by assisting in clinics, performing body scans and processing samples in the laboratories at Edith Cowan University.
