We are also required to pay extra attention to guests with special diet so that their food would not be mixed up with othersThrough this working experience, I have learnt how to handle stress better due to the fast paced working environment around me, as well as learning to be more observant of my surroundings in looking out for used plates that needs to be cleared and beverages that needs to be refilled. In addition, teamwork is also an important value to be displayed because during the event, we are required to be fast and efficient in bringing out new dishes to the guest table, which could only be done if we work together with other colleagues. However, as the number of orders to pick for each order form could range from as little as 1 to as many as 200+, the nature of this job was physically demanding as well. Not to mention, every picker would have to fulfill up to a few hundred order form. Through this experience, I learnt that speed and efficiency is important for order picking as it may affect the delivery time of a customer order, which can affect customer satisfaction if the product is not delivered promptly. Our business officially launched on 21 January 2022 during the Virtual Retail Entrepreneurship Fair through Instagram livestream. ‘Filmit’ is a brand that offers affordable gender neutral designed film cameras that cater to both male and female audiences, allowing everyone to capture moment that are important and valuable to them. However, with climate change becoming a global issue, disposable film cameras are not a sustainable option anymore.
