      Managed APHCA’s Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) grant funded project and the creation of the Quality Information System (QIS) to facilitate the electronic exchange of clinical data and monitoring of health metrics surrounding MU, Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Uniform Data System (UDS) and Healthy People 2020 initiativesMajor Accomplishments:• Directed APHCA’s MU assistance initiative, guiding 300+ community health center primary care providers to become meaningful users of Health Information Technology and qualify for over 5.4 million dollars in incentive payments• Provided advanced training and technical assistance to member health centers and health professionals regarding MU, data collection, aggregation and analysis, reporting, and quality improvement (QI) with respect to MU, Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and information technology (IT) needs• Repaired a fractured relationship with a statewide collaborative partner to increase services for Alabama’s Community Health Centers and provide assistance to Alabama’s Medicaid providers regarding programmatic changes Show less
