  Bij mijn functie als winkelmedewerker bij Maxi Zoo Stadskanaal (voormalig Jumper Stadskanaal) onderneem ik van alles. Standaard taken bij deze functie zijn bijvoorbeeld kassa draaien, schappen bijvullen en zorgen voor de dieren in de winkel. Daarnaast is het belangrijk om veel kennis op te doen op het gebied van dierverzorging, diervoeding en het omgaan met dieren, om ingewikkelde vragen van klanten te kunnen beantwoorden met een duidelijke uitleg en een passend advies

  During my board year at the student choir Popkoor Estrellas, I fulfilled the position of chair. Although the choir was very much influenced by the COVID-19 measures this academic year, my three fellow board members and I were able to host multiple concerts, including Museum Night and two of our own concerts, and to oversee the organization of a trip abroad to the MRF Praha Music Festival. Of course these events could not have been organized without the help of our choir members, conductor and pianist and many external contacts as well. I have learned very valuable lessons regarding leadership and decision making and am grateful for the personal development that I have experienced. Show less

  Teaching assistant

  During the Physiology course, I guided first-year bachelor Biology students through their practical Anatomy of the Heart and Anatomy of the Rat. This was achieved by explaining the theory behind the anatomy, demonstrating the cuts, and assisting the students by answering their questions when they were performing the dissection themselves.

  During the course Principles of Physiology, I have guided first year Life Science and Technology students through their practical Anatomy of the Heart and their practical Dark Adaptation. On the latter practical, a report was written by the students, which I have graded with my fellow teaching assistant.
