My job in Holcim is about learning anything related to the Cement Industry and Cement Manufacturing, before i will be acknowledged as an employee.The program divided into 3 phases : In-class Training (3 months), Rotational OJT (6 months), Dedicated OJT (3 months).The program takes one full year until it finish. Including in this program, is learn about Industrial Safety, how to work safe and properly.

  My duty here is to do a research and composing the report on alternative materials that can be use for replacing traditional fuels (coals) to lowering the production cost and to conserve natural resource such as limestone and clay as cement producing main raw material to prolong the age of our quarry resource deposit. Working together collaborate with another department such as Production, Process, Maintenance team, and Quarry in order to full fill our target, high production capacity, good quality and lowering the production cost together Also composing the standard operating procedure (SOP) for the usage of those alternative materials on the cement production process based on the national standard of indonesia and others to make sure the quality of our product is still meet the market need and to guarantee the safety of the worker that handling the process.
