Additional responsibilities include:Maintaining the library’s entire video collection, both fiction and non-fiction. Responsible for the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of e-readers and their titles. Developed a written policy and procedure for the Library Board and Circulation Staff. Initiatives have included:Creating and now oversee the library’s social media presence, including Facebook (800+ followers), Twitter, Pinterest, Blogger, Google+ and Foursquare. Research best practices and maintain online scheduling through Hootsuite. Working with the Head of the Public Computer Center, researching new technologies in order to suggest new purchases for the library such as various brands of tablets in order to expand instructional offerings.
