  I had the privilige of returning to this summer camp that become such a meaningful place for me. As a returning, experienced staff member I tried my best to share my insight with other young people who were new on the job. Other than that, I continued to facilitate activities like rock climbing and archery, and to be responsible for the children assigned to me for the sessions.

  As a trainee, my roles included technical assessment of building services contracts, projects and budgets. I carried out energetics evaluation calculations and prepared documentations. I used AutoCAD software to create floor plans and technical drawings.

  Camp Tamarack is a prestigious, family-owned co-ed summer camp. As Head of Ropes, I was in charge of the camp's adventure course, leading team-building and challenge activities assisted by five staff members I managed. I took on this role for the summers of 2015 and 2016.

  Towards the end of my PhD research, I joined the University as an assistant lecturer, giving classes, coordinating student research projects, writing grant proposals, and publishing my own work as well as with colleagues. After graduating from the masters programme, I continued my studies and my research as a PhD student in the field of Biomechanics and Biomechatronics.
