  I founded Teens Unstoppable, a part of Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In initiative, in my junior year with a mission to empower girls to believe in the power of their dreams and create an equal world. I led a series of awareness campaigns on themes such as Mental Health, Body Positivity, Gender Roles, Eating Disorders, and Cyberbullying and invited successful female leaders in STEM to share their stories to inspire others. During the global pandemic, we also created a collection of verified pan-India mental health resources in order to make mental health more accessible. Besides our campaigns, we also raised USD 1,022 towards providing menstrual hygiene essentials to lesser-privileged women in rural areas. Show less

  Pursued an internship and research project with an Indian start-up, The Data Team, focused on leveraging APIs to deliver personalized and contextual data to users while ensuring data privacy. Through my research and case studies, I learnt more about APIs, cookies, events passed and functions an API can perform, granularity of data and attribution models. Using Visual Studio Code, I learnt the basics of coding in NodeJS, understood the usage and application of MySQL statements such as insert into, select and drop and learnt git operations such as add, push and commit.   Worked as a Senior Consultant for Kate's Club, which provides a safe, healthy space and has created a community to help children and grieving families process the loss of a loved one. Through therapeutic programming and virtual monthly programs, Kate’s Club provides a platform where families can connect on their shared experiences. At Epic Intentions, we helped produce educational video content for their online platforms (about depression and grief, dating during grief, etc.) and conduct strategy research to plan content for new courses Kate's Club will offer to volunteers and professionals.
