  Responsiblities• Provide standard and self-serve ad-hoc report and dashboard solutions to the "IBM Semi-Conductor Supply Chain” areas using Business Analytic tools such as Cognos.• Provide technical guidance, solutions, strategy to complex issues to team members and business users.• Manage projects using agile development methodologies. I led sprint planning sessions, daily scrums, and sprint wrap-ups. • Develop Framework Manager Models thru the use of Cognos SQL, native SQL, macro prompts, session parameters, parameter maps. • Develop Reports and Dashboards using lists, crosstabs, charts, dashboards, master-detail, bursting, event studio, scheduling, external files, security, JavaScript, render/style/conditional variables for both static reports and ad-hoc Cognos Workspace Dashboards and Workspace Advanced reports.• Interface with clients to understand requirements and write specifications for team implementation.• Deep dive debugging of reports using independent database tools to ensure report integrity.• Ensure usability, maintainability, supportability, and documentation of all reports and models• Research new business analysis tools and techniques for improved report development, performance, and user experience• Deploy Cognos projects, reports, packages, dashboards using Motio CI to production environments.Accomplshments• I was tasked to learn, prototype, and research Cognos as a viable reporting solution. A year later, I successfully sold the Cognos reporting strategy to the stakeholders. Today, the Cognos team has grown from me to over a dozen developers and the Cognos solution has expanded to over a dozen project areas.• I researched and introduced Cognos Workspace/Cognos Workspace Advanced to the area as a flexible self service reporting solution.
