We provided single points of contact for many integrated services including NHS Highland Out Of Hours, Nurse Bank, Highland Council, Argyll & Bute Council, NHS24, Social Work and Telecare Alarms. It is was my job to provide management support and decision making on all aspects of service delivery during shifts which includes out of hours. It is my duty to maintain an adequate Rota cover provision for approximately 40 Hub Controllers. I also manage data and information protection, governance and security at all times. Show less

      Construction Site Supervisor for Morgan Sindall Construction based in Inverness city centre working on behalf of The Highland Council on their £32 million Flood Alleviation Scheme. Morgan Sindall was the Principal Contractor carrying out the construction of new flood defences along riverbanks passing directly through the centre of Inverness city. The project involved large excavation works, the installation of sheet piling, new and re-networked drainage systems and a flood defence wall. Morgan Sindall was also tasked with carrying out the streetscaping works following the full reinstatement of all affected areas i.e., roads, footways, walls and streets.To carry out this role effectively a thorough knowledge of Civil Engineering, Excavations, Sheet Piling and Plant and Streetscaping was essential.As the works also affected 200 residents and businesses, I also had to have the skills and abilities to build up good relationships with all affected parties from, stakeholders, emergency services, local businesses and all residents.
